Book Pairing: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (Reviewed Mar. 21, 2020)

Why? When a new character steps into Les Cirque des Reves, one of the first things mentioned is "a smell of caramel". Whether it's from the mulled cider, the caramel apples, or something else, it provides a 4th sense to the reader.

This is a new drink - to be honest. I couldn't find a hot caramel gin drink recipe I liked. So I took a favorite "Hot Gin Toddy" and 'spiced' it up with bits of "Bee's Knees" ingredients. Patent Pending. Enjoy!
